Antonia Lofaso's cuisine offers a chance to discover the possibilities within her. She began to be interested in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape that is Los Angeles. In the year 2011, Lofaso joined forces with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Through Black Market and the business collaborations she set up, she found a home. Lofaso was able to achieve the creative spirit she desired by working with her. Black Market has no one idea in its head and is the same way. It could begin with dill potato chips and shishito peppers, followed by a lobster roll Korean wings and a variety of meatballs. Lofaso evaluated her career success in part by her ability to be able to comprehend and appear authentic to her audiences. Famous appearances in Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her talents outside of the cooking area. Her talents are evident in her recurring roles as a CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge as well as on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of her challenges during her time at The French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea also. Lofaso believes that the main inspiration behind all of Lofaso's successes is the kitchen she uses. It's through this vein she is always on the pulse.
