Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of the three siblings. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at age five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Stone also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. After a year spent between Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling in Europe which led her to pursue acting while living there. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews when she was 20.
