Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented entertainer at an early stage. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell aged 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. Now, Bell also begins private acting lessons. Bell had a minor role, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club in Shrine Catholic High School. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. After graduation Bell moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. In the end, there is only a credit sequence. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell appeared on The Crucible, a Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
