
Teri Lynn Hatcher is the daughter of Teri Hatcher, born in Palo Alto California on December 8th 1964. Her mother Esther was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist. Teri was born by Esther. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale. She was a student at Fremont High School, where she was captain of the Featherettes dance team and was voted "Most Likely to Become an Solid Gold Dancer." Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she majored in mathematics and engineering. She also attended acting classes in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually assaulted her starting at when she was just five. She also assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's committed suicide. Stone was found guilty of four counts of molestation. Stone died of colon cancer while in prison.
